Established in 1934, Henderson Global Investors (HGI) is a leading independent global asset management firm. The company’s property team employs over 180 staff in nine offices across Europe and Asia, and manages assets worth over £9.3 billion (as at 30 April 2008). Within the UK, HGI owns six major shopping centres including the Bullring in Birmingham and Glasgow’s Buchanan Galleries.
